Sir Thomas Scrope -
5th Lord Scrope of Masham
Sir Thomas Scrope was born about 1428 in Masham, Yorkshire, England. He
was successor to his father, John, 4th Lord Scrope of Masham.
He married Elizabeth Greystock (born circa 1436 in Greystoke Manor,
Cumberland, England; died on December 20, 1490; buried in Blackfriars, Yorkshire,
England), daughter of Ralph, Lord Greystock, on 4 May 1453 in Sett. They had four sons and
three daughters:

Masham, Yorkshire, England
- Alice - born 1459 at Upsall, Yorkshire, England; married James Strangeways; died 4
November 1521
- Ralph Le Scrope - born about 1461 of Masham, Yorkshire, England; married Eleanor
Windsor; became 8th Lord Scrope of Masham; died 15
September 1515
- Elizabeth - Born 1464 of Upsall, Yorkshire, England; married Ralph Fitz Randolph
- Geoffrey Le Scrope - born 1467 of
Upsall, Yorkshire, England; became 9th Lord Scrope of
Masham; died unmarried in 1517
- Henry Scrope - born about 1468 at Upsall, Yorkshire, England; married Elizabeth Percy;
became 7th Lord Scrope of Masham; died 6 August 1515
- Margaret - born 1475 at Upsall, Yorkshire, England; married Christopher Danby; inherited
estates at Masham following her brother Geoffrey's death
