1st Lord Scrope of Masham

Henry Le Scrope was created 1st Lord Scrope of Masham in 1377.

2nd Lord Scrope of Masham

Stephen Le Scrope, successor to Henry Le Scrope, 1st Lord Scrope of Masham, and brother of the Archbishop Richard Le Scrope. He was created 2nd Lord Scrope of Masham summoned to Parliament 1392-1406.

3rd Lord Scrope of Masham

Henry Le Scrope (born circa 1386) was the eldest son of Stephen, 2nd Lord Scrope of Masham. He had fought at Shrewsbury in 1403, received many honours from Henry V, and was created and served as Lord Treasurer in 1410.

4th Lord Scrope of Masham

Sir John Scrope, 4th Lord Scrope of Masham, had his Barony restored in 1426. He bought back The Scrope lands confiscated following his predecessor's execution.

5th Lord Scrope of Masham

Sir Thomas Scrope, fifth Baron, appears to have led a quiet and uneventful life.

6th Lord Scrope of Masham

Thomas Scrope, the eldest son of Sir Thomas Scrope, succeeded his father whilst still a minor.

7th Lord Scrope of Masham

Henry Scrope - born about 1468 at Upsall, Yorkshire, England; married Elizabeth Percy; became 7th Lord Scrope of Masham in 1501; died 6 August 1515

8th Lord Scrope of Masham

Ralph Scrope - born about 1461 of Masham, Yorkshire, England; married Eleanor Windsor; became 8th Lord Scrope of Masham; died 15 September 1515

9th Lord Scrope of Masham

Geoffrey Le Scrope was a Carthusian monk, and was consequently never summoned to parliament.
