Christopher Scrope of Spennithorne and Danby - born 1552

Christopher Scrope of Spennithorne (Spennithorpe) and Danby (born 1552), eldest son of Henry Scroope, inherited the representation of the family. He married in about 1600 Margaret, the daughter of Edward Beesly, of Skelton, Yorkshire, England. They had children:

• Henry Scrope - born 14th October, 1605; inherited Danby and the representation of the family
• Simon Scrope - successor to his brother

Christopher Scrope died 31st of January, 1637.
