Sir Adrian Scrope of Cockerington - born 1616

Sir Adrian Scrope of Cockerington, K.B. was the eldest son and heir to his father Sir Gervase Scrope. He was born 1616 in Cockerington, Lincolnshire.

He married Mary, daughter of Sir John Carr.

They had children:

• Carr Scrope - heir to his father
• Gervase Scrope - died in the lifetime of his father
• Robert Scrope - heir to his elder brother

Sir Adrian was buried at Cockerington 5th September, 1667 and succeeded by his eldest son.
