He was first summoned to parliament in 1441, during the reign of Henry VI.

6th Lord Scrope of Bolton - Sir Henry Scrope

7th Lord Scrope of Bolton

Sir Henry Scrope, Knight of the Bath at the coronation of Henry VIII; Fought at the Battle of Flodden in 1513, with a company of Wensleydale Archers. Died 1533. A poem was written about him

9th Lord Scrope of Bolton (1557-65)

Sir Henry Scrope (c.1534-92), Warden of the West Marches, Captain of Carlisle.

Sir Thomas Scrope, KG (Knight of the Garter), Warden of the West Marches.

11th Lord Scrope of Bolton

Sir Emanuel Scrope, Created by King Charles the first Earl of Sunderland. The titles became extinct at his death in 1627.
