John Scrope - 5th Lord Scrope of Bolton

John Scrope was born 22nd July, 1435. He was the eldest son of Sir Henry Le Scrope, 4th Lord Scrope of Bolton. He became fifth Lord Scrope of Bolton upon his father's death

John married Joan Fitzhugh of Ravensworth, Yorkshire. Their son was:

Sir Henry Scrope - became 6th Lord Scrope of Bolton

He died on the 17th August, 1498 and was buried in St. Agatha, Yorkshire.
